Dashboard tour

Tour every section of the DZBuild merchant dashboard — products, orders, customers, landing pages, marketing, themes and more.

Written by Support

The DZBuild dashboard is your command center for everything: products, orders, customers, marketing, billing, themes, addons, custom domains. This page walks through every section so you know where things live.

Top bar

  • Language switcher — Arabic ⇄ French for the dashboard interface.

  • Light / dark theme toggle.

  • Android app link — shown only when you open the dashboard on an Android device.

  • View store — opens your live storefront in a new tab.

  • Profile dropdown — Account settings, Help center (these docs), Logout.

📝 Note — There is no notification bell

The dashboard has no notification bell and no notification feed. /dashboard/notifications is where you configure where new-order alerts are delivered (browser/app push, email, Telegram, Discord), not where you read them. A new order does pop as a live toast without refreshing, but only on two pages: the orders list at /dashboard/orders and the Advanced Orders page. The dashboard home shows no toast, but it adds the new order to its recent orders and updates its counters without a refresh. Other dashboard pages show nothing, so keep the orders list open if you want the toast.

The store picker lives in the sidebar, not the top bar — see Multi-store below.

Sidebar — every section, with paths

Section

Path

What it does

List, search, filter, edit, hide, set Draft, and bulk-delete or bulk-update products. There is no archive action.

Create product

Form to add a new product.

Upload many products from a .csv, .xlsx, .xls or .ods file (max 10 MB, 5,000 rows).

Categories

/dashboard/categories

Product addons

/dashboard/product-addons

Per-product upsells / cross-sells.

Every order and its status — pending → confirmed → processing → shipped → delivered. Send single or bulk orders to a courier.

Advanced orders

CRM-style order management — sub-statuses, logged call attempts, change history (requires the Advanced Order Management addon).

Customers

Buyers across all orders, plus a fraud console: a per-customer fraud score, a blacklist view, and ban / unban for repeat no-show buyers.

Landing pages

One-page mini-sites for paid ads.

/dashboard/landing-pages/create

Hand-built landing-page editor.

AI-generate landing page

Abandoned carts

Carts your customers started but didn't finish — with recovery tools.

The grid holds 102 tiles (Yalidine, Yalitec, Guepex, Easy & Speed, Maystro, ZR Express, Abex Express, NOEST, Zimou, Colivraison, Ecom Delivery, DHD, Conexlog, MSM Go and more), and one of those 102 is a custom-Ecotrack tile for any courier running on the Ecotrack platform.

Domains

Connect your custom domain. See Custom domain.

Themes

Pick one of the 7 storefront themes (Starter, Brico, Digital, "Started V2"/Showcase, Prestige, Bloom, Promobi), each with its own minimum plan. The same page hosts the Fast-Checkout theme picker.

Customize

Customize Digital

/dashboard/customize/digital

The one theme with its own separate editor page.

Addons

25 add-ons ship with the platform. Twenty of them render as installable cards you switch on here. Product Reviews, Facebook Catalog and A/B Testing sit in the Management tools section instead, alongside Team, Google Sheets, Product Add-ons and two built-in toggles that are not add-ons at all (Promo Codes, Countdown & Urgency); the Claude and ChatGPT add-ons sit under External platforms, next to the Ecomanager, FlashManager and Octomatic connections. Three things about this list:

  • The add-on-driven pages (Advanced orders, Advanced analytics, A/B tests, Reviews, Stock management, Short links, Webhooks, WhatsApp messages, Pickup points, Min/max quantity) only appear in the sidebar once the matching add-on is active.

  • Promo codes, Team and Product addons have no sidebar entry of their own: open them from their cards in Addons → Management tools. AI credits opens from the landing pages screens.

  • The /dashboard/digital/* group appears, and Shipping rates and Link couriers disappear, on stores using the Digital theme.

⚠️ Warning — When the plan expires

An expired plan takes the storefront offline for buyers, and until you renew the dashboard narrows to a few pages: home, subscribe, settings, account, notifications, affiliate, AI credits and domains. Nothing is deleted: your products, orders and settings are waiting when the plan is active again.

What to do first

If your store is brand new, here's the recommended order:

  1. Add 2-3 real products with proper photos. See Add your first product.

  2. Set up shipping rates in /dashboard/shipping (per wilaya or flat), then link a courier account in /dashboard/link-shipping.

  3. Nothing to connect for payments on a physical-goods store: every order is Cash on Delivery and checkout has no payment-method step. Digital-product stores instead configure buyer payment methods at /dashboard/digital/payment: CIB / Edahabia card through your own Slick-Pay account, or a manual method (CCP, BaridiMob, Redot Pay or a custom method) where the buyer transfers and uploads a receipt.

  4. Customize your storefront — pick a theme in /dashboard/themes, set your colors and logo in /dashboard/customize.

  5. Place a test order as a customer to see the full flow end to end.

  6. Connect your Facebook Pixel in /dashboard/pixels before you launch ads.

  7. (Optional) Connect your custom domain in /dashboard/domains once you're happy with the store.

Multi-store

If you own more than one store, switch between them from the store picker in the sidebar. Mutations always target the selected store — make sure the right one is selected before bulk-editing or importing.

The picker is hidden entirely if you own a single store and are not currently eligible to create another. Switching can also move you to a different page: if the store you switch to is a different type, the dashboard retargets you (orders ⇄ digital orders) or sends you back to /dashboard.

Getting the dashboard on your phone

The live toast only fires on the orders list and the Advanced Orders page, so it is no substitute for a real alert channel. Away from the desk you have two options: install the dashboard as a PWA from your mobile browser, or download the official Android app, whose link appears in the dashboard top bar when you browse from an Android device. Both can receive push notifications once you enable push at /dashboard/notifications, and Telegram is the channel most Algerian merchants end up relying on.
